Product Safety at PanaToys
Safe play starts with choosing the right product and using it as intended. This page provides general safety guidance for products purchased from PanaToys. Always follow the age recommendations, warnings, assembly instructions, and care information provided on the product listing, packaging, and manufacturer’s instructions. This guidance supplements those instructions and does not replace them.
Choose Products Appropriate for Your Child
Before purchasing or using a product, check its recommended age range and consider the child’s abilities, development, and play environment. Age recommendations are not simply a measure of difficulty: they may reflect hazards such as small parts. Do not give a product to a child younger than the stated minimum age.
Keep products intended for older children away from younger children. If age information or safety instructions are missing or unclear, do not give the product to a child until you have obtained clarification from the manufacturer or contacted PanaToys.
Adult Supervision and Safe Play
Provide supervision appropriate to the child’s age and the product being used. Supervision does not make an age-inappropriate product safe. Use products only for their intended purpose, in a suitable play area away from traffic, stairs, heat sources, and other hazards. Follow any requirements for protective equipment.
Remove packaging, plastic bags, ties, staples, and other packing materials before play. Keep packaging materials out of children’s reach. Retain instructions and product identification information for future reference.
Small Parts and Choking Hazards
Products with small parts, small balls, or detachable components may present a choking hazard. Keep these items away from children under 3 years of age and anyone who may put objects in their mouth. Follow the specific warnings supplied with each product.
Check toys regularly for loose or broken parts. Stop using a product immediately if a component becomes detached, damaged, or small enough to create a hazard.
Batteries and Electrical Products
Where a product uses batteries, an adult should install and replace them according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Use only the specified battery type. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries, and keep batteries away from heat and water unless the product instructions expressly allow otherwise.
Make sure battery compartments are securely closed and that any required screws are in place. Keep loose batteries, especially button and coin batteries, out of children’s reach. Swallowed batteries can cause severe internal injury or death. If you suspect a battery has been swallowed or inserted into any part of the body, seek immediate medical help. Do not wait for symptoms.
Use only chargers and power supplies specified by the manufacturer. Stop using an electrical product if its cable, plug, battery compartment, or housing is damaged, or if it overheats, leaks, or produces an unusual smell.
Magnets, Cords, and Other Product-Specific Hazards
Where a product contains magnets, inspect it for damage or missing pieces. Keep loose or detached magnets away from children. Swallowing multiple magnets, or a magnet with a metal object, can cause serious internal injury. Seek immediate medical help if ingestion is suspected.
Cords, ribbons, straps, and loops may create entanglement or strangulation hazards. Never place these items around a child’s neck or attach them to a crib, bed, or other location unless the manufacturer explicitly instructs you to do so. Follow all additional warnings applicable to the specific product.
Assembly, Inspection, and Maintenance
Where assembly is required, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and have an adult complete or check the assembly before use. Ensure fasteners and components are properly secured.
Inspect products before first use and regularly afterward for cracks, sharp edges, loose components, exposed wiring, wear, or other damage. Stop use if the product is damaged or unsafe. Do not modify products or make repairs that are not approved by the manufacturer.
Cleaning and Storage
Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning and care instructions. Do not immerse battery-operated or electrical products in water unless expressly permitted. Let cleaned products dry fully before use or storage.
Store products in a clean, dry place, away from excessive heat and direct sunlight where these could damage the materials. Keep products with small parts, batteries, magnets, or other hazards inaccessible to younger children.
Product Information and Safety Documentation
Refer to the individual product’s listing, packaging, and manufacturer’s documentation for applicable warnings, materials information, and any stated testing or certification details. Do not assume that all products carry the same certifications or are suitable for the same ages or uses.
If you need additional safety information before purchasing or using a product, contact PanaToys through the contact information published on our website. Include the product name and the specific information you need.
Safety Concerns, Incidents, and Recalls
If you believe a product is unsafe, stop using it immediately and keep it away from children. Contact PanaToys through our website’s published contact information. Provide the product name, order number if available, a description of the concern, and photographs where appropriate. Keep the product, packaging, and identifying labels available, but do not continue using the product while seeking guidance.
In an emergency or if an injury or ingestion is suspected, seek medical assistance immediately rather than waiting for a response from us.
For U.S. product recall information, visit the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s recall website. You can report an unsafe consumer product at SaferProducts.gov. If your product is subject to a recall, stop using it and follow the official recall instructions. Do not resell or give away a recalled product.
Returns and Safety-Related Requests
For ordinary return and refund requests, please refer to our Return and Refund Policy. If your request involves a possible defect, safety concern, or recall, clearly identify that issue when contacting us so it can be reviewed appropriately. This page does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
